Barnsley wish to part ways with the striker before the deadline tonight at 11 p.m.
Leya Iseka, 25, is at the bottom of the Oakwell pecking order and has struggled to make an impression in South Yorkshire since relocating to England in 2021.
According to the Barnsley Chronicle, another loan exit is ‘probable’ for the player today as Neill Collins’ side looks for a new home.
Barnsley’s demise is on the cards.
Barnsley would make a wise decision if they were able to get rid of Leya Iseka. It would free up room and cash in their team for the remainder of the League One season.
He joined from Toulouse and has since made 27 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals. He has recently been loaned out to Turkish clubs Adanaspor and Tuzlaspor after falling down the pecking order at his parent club.
Former Belgium youth international has previously played for Anderlecht, Marseille, and Zulte Waregem.
Leya Iseka arrived in England with a great pedigree when Barnsley won the competition to recruit him, but his move hasn’t worked out.
