BREAKING NEWS: Luton Town with an Official Bid for Arsenal sensational Midfielder

According to Mike McGrath of the Daily Telegraph, Luton Town has made a deadline-day loan bid for Arsenal’s Albert Sambi Lokonga. McGrath adds that Lokonga has now decided to relocate.

According to Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke, Luton Town are in talks to sign Lokonga before tonight’s deadline, confirming that the midfielder will be on loan again.

O’Rourke mentions that other clubs in England and Europe have expressed interest in Lokonga, but it is Luton that is attempting to close a deal on the final day.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Galatasaray had made a bid for the Arsenal midfielder, with negotiations scheduled for Thursday. However, there has been no update on the status of those conversations as of yet.
Lokonga had previously been linked with AS Monaco and Burnley during the transfer season.

The transfer to Burnley appeared to fall through due to personal issues, while Monaco made inquiries but never made a formal bid.

Lokonga was said to have discussed a move with Burnley manager Vincent Kompany, and he was anticipated to play a vital part for the club.

However, The Athletic stated that the transfer was on hold as the newly promoted team finalized other signings.

Lokonga, who spent last season on loan with Crystal Palace, returned to Arsenal training in early August after missing the first few weeks of pre-season, but he’s often been training separate from the main group while he pursues a transfer.
