Agreement Reached: Tottenham super star now set to sign for Saudi Club after deadline day transfer collapsed

Hugo Lloris could leave Tottenham for Turkey or Saudi Arabia after being frozen out of the club, according to Football Insider.

On transfer deadline day (1 September), the 36-year-old saw a last-minute deal to childhood club Nice fall through.

Lloris is now Tottenham’s third choice, behind new arrival Gugliemo Vicario and stand-in Fraser Forster.
Despite starting in goal for France in all but one game on their way to the World Cup final in Qatar last year (2022), he has yet to win a game.

So far this season, he has yet to appear in any of Ange Postecoglou’s matchday teams.

Lloris’s options may potentially open up in Turkey and Saudi Arabia as their respective transfer windows close.

The transfer window in Turkey shuts on September 15, while the window in Saudi Arabia closes later this week (7 September).

Lloris, a long-serving Spurs player, made 31 appearances across all competitions last season before being replaced in the second half due to a combination of injury concerns and poor form.

He joined Tottenham from Lyon in 2012 and has since made 447 appearances, 361 of which have come in the Premier League.
Vicario has started all four of Spurs’ league games in place of the 145-cap France player, conceding four goals and keeping two clean sheets.

Forster was in goal for the League Cup shootout loss to Fulham last Friday (August 29), but he failed to save a single penalty.
