Although the summer transfer window has closed until January, English Football League clubs can still recruit free agents. Unregistered players can be signed by teams until the fourth Thursday in March.
Sunderland had another busy summer, signing 11 players and losing some major names. While newcomers like as Bradley Dack, Jobe Bellingham, and Nazariy Rusyin arrived on Wearside, established players such as Ross Stewart, Lynden Gooch, and Danny Batth left, leaving Tony Mowbray with a squad full of promising young players but maybe lacking in experience.
High-profile free agents are still looking for new teams to join; the most of them have played in numerous games. In terms of forwards, Connor Whickham and Fraizer Campbell, both ex-Sunderland players, stand out, while Danny Rose is currently hunting for a club.
Several Championship-level free agents are still up for grabs, according to the well-known football website Transfermarkt.
