According to a source, AC Milan reached an agreement with Sevilla to sign Youssef En-Nesyri, but the player was the reason the deal fell through.
After explaining why Patson Daka’s move from Leicester City fell through despite an agreement between the teams, La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sportitalia) has spoken about another late discussion.
According to the report, En-Nesyri was one step away from joining Milan on the final day of the summer transfer season after the Rossoneri struck an agreement with Sevilla on the conditions of the deal.
They would have signed the center-forward for a €6 million paid loan and a €25 million option to buy, an offer that the LaLiga club considered was reasonable.
However, it was the Moroccan international himself who broke off the talks and vetoed the move to Milan, stating that he did not want to leave on loan. As a result, the Rossoneri went to Luka Jovic.
