Celtics of Boston In recent days, Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, has been linked on Twitter to one of the greatest franchise rivals in the career of the “king,” according to a draft forecast from the August 9 Draft Digest that places him as the No. 24 pick in the 2024 NBA draft. Of course, if LeBron Jr. signs with the Cs, there’s a good chance that Sr. will follow suit. At least that’s what LBJ indicated in an interview with Jason Lloyd of The Athletic (subscription required), who reported that LBJ would play his final season with Bronny.
Inside Eric Jay Santos of the Celtics thinks that the Celtics-Bronny rumor “paves the way” for the unbelievable to occur in the 2024–2025 season or at any time in the future when the “king” ultimately hangs up his cleats.
Jay Santos began by stating, “On August 9th, Draft Digest’s most recent mock draft projected James to be selected with the 24th choice, despite the 18-year-old going into cardiac arrest at a University of Southern California basketball practice. By selecting Bronny James, the Celtics could be able to sign his father, who is destined for the Hall of Fame. Before retiring, James has already indicated a wish to play with his son.
With Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown on the Boston Celtics, LeBron James would be the ideal playmaker.
Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have never had the chance to play with a facilitator like James before. While James was the only player to even come close to helping Kyrie Irving win an NBA Championship, Irving was a dynamic player.
Though Kristaps Porzingis’ fit with the Cs is still unknown, Tatum and Brown’s potential as a team is well known. The Jays were driving the team to a 3-2 series lead over the Golden State Warriors in the 2022 Finals, but due to a leadership deficit, the more seasoned club had to rely on a team that was experiencing that kind of spotlight for the first time.
