Even after the transfer market has closed, Tottenham Hotspur is still getting rid of the unwanted players.
Tottenham center back Davinson Sanchez and midfielder Tanguy Ndombele have signed contracts with Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray.
Ndombele moved on loan with a purchase option, while Sanchez joined on a permanent basis.
Defender Maksim Paskotsi, 20, is the most recent to leave the team. The gifted 20-year-old Estonian moved from his local club, Flora Tallinn, to Tottenham in September 2020.
He started his Spurs career, playing with the Under-18s his first year before moving on to the Development Squad in 2021.
In August 2021, during the UEFA Europa Conference League play-off match against Pacos de Ferreira, Paskotsi’s extraordinary journey with the club came to a memorable conclusion.
He will soon join the Zurich-based Grasshopper Club. The agreement has been formally announced by Tottenham.
This was what the club said:
“We have reached an agreement with Grasshopper Club Zurich for the transfer of Maksim Paskotsi.”
Ange Postecoglou has overseen a very successful transfer window for Tottenham. James Maddison, Manor Solomon, Guglielmo, Ashley Phillips, Micky van de Ven, Brennan Johnson, and Alejo Veliz were among the seven players they signed.
The most prominent departure was Harry Kane’s, who paid nearly to £100 million to leave the team and join Bayern Munich.
Other departing players at Spurs who helped pave the way for a new era include Sergio Reguilon, Joe Rodon, Djed Spence, Harry Winks, Alfie Devine, Troy Parrott, and Dane Scarlett.
