BREAKTHROUGH: Sunderland set to sign former Manchester united loan star in January after club latest Development

According to reports, Sunderland declined the chance to sign Amad Diallo during the summer transfer window.

The Ivorian, who is still recovering from his injury, was reportedly pressing to play again at the Stadium of Light.
Amad played for Tony Mowbray’s team on loan during the previous season, and as a result of his standout performances, he won over the support of the crowd.

The team finished in the top six and lost in the play-offs in their first season back in the Championship as a result of the Manchester United starlet’s 13 league goals.

Due to a fitness issue, Amad is now out of commission and won’t likely be back until the end of October or beginning of November.

Could Sunderland sign Amad Diallo in January?

However, the attacker was anxious to go back to Wearside to continue his recovery so that, if healthy, he could play right away for Mowbray’s team. But Sunderland declined the chance to sign him once more, choosing to wait until the January transfer window before trying to sign him once more. Given Sunderland’s evident desire for him to rejoin the team, a transfer in January may very well be in the cards. The player seems to really like the team and apparently wants to play for the Black Cats once more, but it may all depend on what Man United decide.

Amad was excellent for Sunderland last season, playing 37 times in the league during his loan spell.

the forward struggled at first but finally established himself as an important member of the group that qualified for the playoffs. Amad was the team’s top scorer at the end of the league season, and his flare and originality made them stand out as genuine talents. He was hailed by fans for being among the division’s most impressive performers.

Does Manchester United have plans for Amad Diallo in the future?
Antony and Facundo Pellestri are Man United’s possibilities on the right, so it’s feasible that Amad will have something to give the Dutchman when he recovers from injury.

If he does return to full fitness on schedule, he will have a chance to win over Ten Hag before the January transfer market.

That might turn out to be the deciding time frame for whether Sunderland has a chance to complete another loan transfer for the attacker.

Man United has scored just five goals in its first four games of this season, continuing a trend that began after Ten Hag was hired in 2022.

Rasmus Hojlund’s entrance at the front may make things better, but having a choice

Amad demonstrated his ability to score goals in the Championship, and his speed and skill against a man might make him a great replacement for the team’s current alternatives.

Ten Hag will desire left-footed players, which United’s squad is lacking, therefore this increases his chances of staying with the Red Devils.

While nothing is guaranteed until he is fully recovered, Amad’s obvious desire to go back to Wearside will undoubtedly give them the upper hand if Manchester United decides to send him out on loan once more in January.
