CONFIRMED: Middlesbrough Boss Michael Carrick confirm squad list EFL as he leaves door for transfer as Boro are Advancing free Agent chase

The English Football League has accepted Middlesbrough’s registration of their team after the summer transfer market closed. Championship teams are only allowed to name 25 senior players in their squad, and according to the list posted last night on the English Football League website, Boro has left one position open.

Just arrived The list includes Lewis O’Brien, Sam Greenwood, and Alex Bangura. Just before the window shut last Friday, the group relocated to the Riverside.

Middlesbrough’s head coach, Michael Carrick, has room to move if he want to bolster his team. Clubs can still sign unrestricted free agents and sign players later on.

Carrick pronounced himself delighted with their summer transfer dealings after adding 12 senior players. I’m incredibly pleased with the work we did on the entire window, he declared. I’m eager to see what each of the lads can contribute individually as well as what we can accomplish together.I’m quite pleased with the squad as it stands right now and I believe we have a great team and set of players. Importantly, the group has a solid balance as well. In terms of looking at the next step and chapter of their careers and coming here to play, we’ve added a lot of good players, many of whom are also at a very nice age.

They have a lot of potential, which is wonderful for us to take advantage of, exploit, and help them develop into the best versions of themselves. We have a great balance in the group, in my opinion. We felt that we were able to reinforce those places that we knew we needed to.

We can play in a variety of ways, and each member of the team has various skills that help us do that. I’m therefore quite eager to watch us improve as the season goes on.

The Under-21 squad list includes defender Rav Vander Den Berg, midfielder Hayden Hackney, and attackers Morgan Rogers and Josh Coburn. The quartet are not included on the senior 25-man list.

Bryant Akono Bilongo is a member of Middlesbrough’s confirmed EFL senior squad.
