Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan both missed France’s training session yesterday afternoon due to minor ailments. The goalie was back in action today, but the full-back was not.
According to RMC Sport, Maignan received therapy in the gym yesterday and Hernandez rested after suffering a calf injury in the game against Ireland. This obviously reached Milan fans quickly, given the rivalry is coming up.
However, good news came from the same source today, as Maignan was back in training with the rest of the group. Hernandez, on the other hand, was not present and will require additional time before returning to action, but it should not be anything catastrophic.
Milan will meet Inter in the Derby della Madonnina next Saturday, and the Rossoneri will need the Frenchmen to be fit. They are two crucial guys, and it would be difficult to win without them.
