Lucas Hernandez has publicly stated his desire to play with his brother Theo Hernandez at the club level, which may cause concern among AC Milan fans.
According to Calciomercato.com, Telefoot published an interview with both Hernandez brothers, and among the questions was one concerning the future and maybe playing together.
“Playing for the same club as my brother?” said Theo’s older brother, who plays for PSG. It’d be wonderful! We’re already doing well in the national squad; we’d do even better in a club team.”
It doesn’t take much to decipher what it means, and his remarks may irritate Rossoneri supporters. The former Bayern Munich player joined PSG during the summer transfer window, while Theo extended his contract with Milan until June 2026 in February 2022.
However, the report says that the Parisians might offer the left-back a significant raise in salary from the €4m net per season he presently receives from the Rossoneri, taking advantage of Paolo Maldini’s departure.
Maldini was the former Real Madrid defender’s actual mentor. As a result, it is more likely that if the two decide to reconcile as brothers, they will do so under the Eiffel Tower rather than the Madonnina.
