According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, midfielder Ian Poveda for Leeds United has admitted to having committed traffic violations.
On September 12, the newspaper published an article on its website stating that the 23-year-old was charged with operating a vehicle while ineligible and operating without insurance in April 2022.
The midfielder for the Whites will be punished for the driving offenses on October 6 at Manchester Magistrates’ Court, it was further said.

According to the publication, Leeds has not yet responded to a request for comment regarding Poveda’s impending sentencing for driving-related offenses.
However, given that the incident occurred more than a year ago, there is a likelihood that the club was already aware of the situation.
That suggests that his current position at Elland Road might not undergo a significant alteration once he has participated as a squad member throughout this season.
The midfielder, who had previously spent the previous season on loan at Blackpool, played for West Yorkshire under Daniel Farke during the preseason.
He participated in the full 90 minutes for the Whites against Birmingham City, but a groin injury sidelined him until the team’s most recent tie with Sheffield Wednesday.
