According to reports, Milan’s management was present in the dressing room following the team’s 5-1 loss to Inter at San Siro today.
According to Peppe Di Stefano of Sky (via MilanNews), the Milan management, led by CEO Giorgio Furlani, showed up in the Rossoneri changing room for a discussion with the staff and team following what they saw.
Obviously, there is a lot of disappointment after such a humiliating outcome, but there is also a strong desire and need to respond, given that the club returns to the pitch on Tuesday against Newcastle in the Champions League.
This is Milan’s sixth consecutive derby defeat, and it appears that Stefano Pioli is unable to curb Simone Inzaghi’s plans. From the Supercoppa Italiana till now, Milan has lost five consecutive derbies, with 12 goals conceded and only one scored.
