AC Milan were interested in signing Moise Kean from Juventus during the summer transfer season, according to a report.
Calciomercato.com explains how Juve manager Max Allegri does not have to worry about European competitions this season, but that can make balancing minutes and rotating the team more difficult, because players like Kean and Arek Milik may become dissatisfied with their playing time.
Allegri has chosen to trust the Chiesa-Vlahovic front two, which limits the space available to others, particularly Kean, who was the focus of numerous exit rumors during the summer.
Nottingham Forest of the Premier League made an enquiry about Kean, but it didn’t go much farther than that, and in the end they bought Divock Origi on a loan with a buy option.
Milan also contacted Juve in the last weeks of the transfer window, looking for a striker to round out the club. They proposed two hypotheses: a loan with a buy option or some sort of swap transaction with Origi.
These were two concepts that the Bianconeri management refused to even entertain. Kean now wants more playing time, and any suitors who are still interested will be keeping a close eye on his situation.
