Kalvin Phillips and Luke Ayling have expressed their excitement over the recent news regarding the fitness of Leeds United ace Stuart Dallas.
The Northern Ireland player has been out for more than a year after breaking his leg in April 2022, but according to The Athletic journalist Phil Hay, he has returned to full training with his teammates on Thursday (21 September).
On Thursday, the 32-year-old posted a photo of himself on the training field with the comment “all in good time,” to which his former teammate Phillips responded with three heart face emojis and Ayling said “it’s great to see.”
Heartwarming
It’s encouraging to see Dallas back in full training mode, and to see how many of his current and former teammates have rushed to Instagram to express their joy at his return.
He suffered an extraordinarily awful injury, and there were certainly times over the last 18 months when he felt the day would never come.
But it’s a compliment to himself and the Leeds medical staff that he’s been allowed to return to training with the rest of the club, and he’ll be hoping to be fully healthy soon.
While Dallas is definitely adored by Whites fans, it is apparent from the texts he has received that he is also a very popular member of the squad.
The Northern Irishman will be eager to return to the pitch as soon as possible, and given his versatility, he might be a valuable asset to Daniel Farke upon his return.
