AC Milan will face Hellas Verona at San Siro tomorrow afternoon, hoping to pick up all three points after going two games without a win. There are a few significant battles to keep an eye on, as there always are.
Although it is not a direct battle, it is evident that goalkeepers will be crucial tomorrow. Milan will start Marco Sportiello in goal because Mike Maignan is suffering from muscle pain, while Verona will start Lorenzo Montipo (who has already faced the Rossoneri).
Starting at the back for Milan, Fikayo Tomori will face off against the veteran Milan Djuric. He is not a prolific forward but he has previously caused problems for many good defenders.
Tijjani Reijnders was rested against Newcastle but came on as a substitute in the second half. In any event, he’ll have to be at his best to overcome Martin Hongla, who’s sure to stick close to the Dutchman from the start.
