AC Milan have ruled out selling Francesco Camarda, who is enjoying his time and growth at the San Siro despite interest from Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund, according to FootballTranfers.
The Citizens have been linked with the teenager, but club insiders at the Rossoneri have told us that the 15-year-old is very happy where he is and that they are under no pressure to sell.
Dortmund have also expressed an interest in Camarda, but his current club is unconcerned about the issue and says he has a bright future with them.
Camarda, who plays for Milan Primavera, has piqued the interest of some of Europe’s top clubs due to his goal-scoring ability.
Camarda’s scorching goal total
During his time playing for academies, the youth is believed to have scored 483 goals in 87 games. He scored 247 goals in 40 games for Milan when he was eight years old during the 2017/18 season. Moreover, he scored 172 goals in 31 games during the 2018/19 season.
Camarda scored twice against Newcastle in the UEFA Youth League earlier this month as part of a 4-0 victory. With his goals, he became the competition’s youngest ever scorer.
Meanwhile, Carmada has scored 12 goals in 19 games for his national team at the youth level.
Indeed, Milan are confident in keeping their gifted attacker and are in the process of signing him to a professional contract, with Camarda celebrating his 16th birthday on March 10th.
