The whole AC Milan management team was present at Milanello today for the penultimate training session before the game against Cagliari.
Peppe Di Stefano said on Sky (via Radio Rossonera) during his live update from the training ground about ‘a very significant training session on a very critical eve’ since Milan ‘need to stay up with Inter’s tempo.
For this reason, the entire executive team was there, including CEO Giorgio Furlani, top scout Geoffrey Moncada, and sports director Antonio D’Ottavio. Everyone joined the team for lunch as well as the afternoon training session.
Given Cagliari’s terrible start to the season, a game that’seems simple’ awaits, but as Di Stefano points out, playing in Sardinia is ‘never straightforward’ and rather a ‘historically difficult encounter’.
Above all, Milan must attempt to keep pace with the Nerazzurri, who have won all five games this season. After Inter’s derby victory 10 days ago, the sides are separated by three points.
