Luka Romero was one of AC Milan’s initial summer recruits, although he has failed to make an appearance this season, prompting speculation over his future.
Romero was regarded as a long-term investment for Milan, according to Calciomercato.com. The Argentine has Stefano Pioli’s and the management’s trust, but he has yet to make his league debut.
The explanation for this is simple: while he was the first right winger to come, he was quickly followed by Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze from Chelsea and Villarreal, respectively.
That means he is currently third in the pecking order, and it is not ruled out that the Argentine might go on loan abroad in January.
Although no clubs have been mentioned as potential suitors, his strong preseason performances may have piqued the interest of others.
