According to another source, Casper Stylsvig will leave AC Milan for a new adventure in England, this time with Chelsea.
The’revolving door at Chelsea’, according to the Daily Mail, is not limited to players. CEO Chris Jurasek disclosed the resignation of President of Business Tom Glick, with some fresh blood on the way.
Jurasek was hired at the end of May from a company sponsored by Clearlake Capital, the private-equity firm that led the takeover alongside co-chairman Todd Boehly.
The first of three changes was the appointment of Jason Gannon as chief operating officer. Gannon was previously the managing director of SoFi Stadium, which is home to the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Gannon will supervise the critical Stamford Bridge building work, while Adriel Lares has been named chief financial officer, joining the Blues from Stash, a San Francisco-based financial services startup.
Casper Stylsvig, the company’s new chief revenue officer, will join from Milan next month. He previously worked in England for Manchester United and Fulham and will be in charge of generating new revenue streams.
Milan have gained enormously in worldwide appeal thanks to new sponsorships and collaborations since Elliott Management took control of the club in 2018 and since the shift in ownership to RedBird Capital. Given his position, Stylsvig has been in the epicenter of this.
