Poveda’s six-month driving restriction will not have come as a surprise after pleading guilty to the offense last month.

During his loan period with Blackburn, he made a severe error in judgment while out injured with a fracture and ligament damage on his left ankle.
After committing the offense almost 18 months ago in April of last year, the midfielder has most likely been waiting for this day to arrive.

Poveda will be able to concentrate on his football now that he knows his fate, as he attempts to force his way into Daniel Farke’s plans for this season.

The German has previously stated that his court appearance will have no effect on his availability for the Yorkshire club, and he will be looking to move forward and help his side battle for promotion this season.
