According to ESPN, Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard has agreed to a four-year, $30 million deal extension.
The contract, which is completely guaranteed, will begin with the 2024-25 season.
Last season, Pritchard, 25, averaged 5.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 48 games (three starts).
In 185 career games (nine starts), he averaged 6.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists. Boston took him with the 26th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft out of Oregon.
Later that day, the Celtics faced the Philadelphia 76ers in a preseason game, and Pritchard led all scorers with 26 points. He made 9 of 14 field goals and was 6-for-11 from 3-point range.
