News from the Pompey team

Due to international call-ups and the lack of a league matchup over the weekend, John Mousinho has stated that there will be no wholesale changes for this match.

Alex Robertson, Paddy Lane, Regan Poole, and Terry Devlin have all been called up for international service and will miss this match.
“I don’t think we’ll have the luxury of rotating it completely this week,” Mousinho told reporters.

We’re missing four players due to international commitments.

“We’ve also picked up a few more injuries since then,” he added. “We’ll rotate in some areas, but there will be a lot of players who played on Saturday who will start on Tuesday.”

The decision on whether Kusini Yengi will start will be made on Monday afternoon and communicated to the squad.

He returned to action last weekend after missing more than a month due to injury, and he might earn some crucial first-team minutes in the competition. Pompey’s medical team has given him the go-ahead to begin.
