TALKS CONFIRMED: Crystal Palace have made approach to sign top rated manager with Talks between both Parties looking Good.

According to reports in France, Crystal Palace are interested in Lille boss Paulo Fonseca.

According to journalist Ignazio Genuardi, the Eagles are keeping an eye on Roy Hodgson’s situation because he is “not eternal.”

Fonseca is no stranger to Premier League intrigue; prior to joining Crystal Palace, he was linked to West Ham United.
The rumour first surfaced last summer, and Genuardi claims the coach’remains popular’ among English clubs. West Ham don’t appear to need to identify managerial options any more, with David Moyes off to a good start.

Crystal Palace have been doing well in the Premier League, sitting in ninth place with 12 points after eight games.

That means Hodgson’s job isn’t in jeopardy, and signing Fonseca would be an alternative if the manager opted to call it quits, which may happen at the end of the season.

Fonseca joined Lille in the summer of 2022 after working at Porto, Paços Ferreira, Braga, Shakhtar Donetsk, and AS Roma.
