Milan are looking to improve their defensive options and have identified Real Betis left-back Juan Miranda as a viable candidate.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via TMW, the Rossoneri are unwilling to pay more than €6 million for the Spanish international. Real Betis, on the other hand, presently value the 23-year-old at €12 million.
Miranda has made 37 appearances for Los Verdiblancos in all competitions since joining Real Betis from FC Barcelona in 2021.
With Miranda’s contract scheduled to expire in the summer of 2024, Milan are ready to seize the opportunity to acquire his talents for a low-ball amount.
Given his outstanding ball technique and ability to make explosive runs down the flank, coach Stefano Pioli sees the 23-year-old as the ideal back-up to star full-back Theo Hernandez.
If Milan fail to reach a deal with Real Betis in January, the Italian giants are willing to sign him as a free agent in June.
