Assan Ouédraogo has ended up on AC Milan’s radar, as reported this morning, and more evidence of the Rossoneri’s interest has now surfaced. The competition for the player, on the other hand, is tremendous.
Despite being only 17 years old, Ouédraogo has made a name for himself with Schalke 04’s first squad this season. The midfielder has scored once in nine appearances, six of which have come from the start.
Naturally, several of the top clubs are keeping an eye on his condition, and Milan, as stated this morning, is one among them. Antonio Vitello verified the interest in his latest editorial for MilanNews, but added that it is strong.
According to the journalist, Bayern Munich and Liverpool are also keeping a close eye on the kid. Ouédraogo has a €20 million release clause, which could be activated at the end of the season if he continues to perform well.
Milan has stated that they intend to sign players for a maximum of €20 million, maybe more with bonuses, and so have a chance in the competition. As the journalist puts it, the Rossoneri “will try,” but it won’t be easy.
