SAD NEWS: AC Milan forward goes Missing – Club boss report “he has not shown for training for two weeks “

Emil Roback, who is owned by AC Milan, has not shown up for training with his loan club IFK Norrköping for two weeks.

According to Aftonbladet, Norrköping is unable to contact Roback, and sporting director Tony Martinsson has been attempting to contact him for two weeks.

IFK Norrköping signed the 20-year-old on loan from AC Milan in March. His stint in the Allsvenskan has not been fruitful, as he has only made three appearances.

Roback is no longer training with IFK Norrköping, and the club has no idea where he is. Tony Martinsson, sports director at Norrköping Tidningar, said he tried to contact Roback for two weeks.

“I want to make sure he’s okay. It’s concerning that we can’t reach him, but I’m not sure what else we can do. “I’ve met with him several times, but he’s difficult to reach,” he explained.

“I’d like him to come here. Then we can devise a strategy that works for everyone. I haven’t given up hope that he will return, although it’s difficult to tell after 14 days.”

In August, Roback spoke with Norrköpings Tidningar. During which he stated that his financing was not proceeding as planned.

“If I do say so myself, it hasn’t gone as planned. I just try to take things as they come. Then it’s up to the coach, but I always try to do my best,” he remarked.

Hammarby transferred Roback to Milan for €1.5 million in August 2020, and his countrymen Zlatan Ibrahimovic lauded him in the fall that followed. His contract with Milan expires in June 2025, and the outlook is bleak at the moment.
