The advice from Mousinho

Prior to Saturday’s match, Portsmouth manager Mousinho warned his team about the threat Carlisle pose.
He told reporters, “Carlisle have entered this division and caused sides serious issues, won at Bolton a couple of weeks ago. There is a lot of threat there, however I’m sure they were sad to lose to Leyton Orient in their most recent encounter.

There are players there with knowledge of the league, so we must be prepared for a difficult challenge. He said, with regards to steering the division, “You can’t affect what any of the other sides are doing, so it’s all about whoever we’re facing and making sure we try to win that one.”

Oxford issue

Oxford United, the team in the division directly below Portsmouth, is only down one point with a game remaining. However, they have a sickness virus in camp that they have picked up before of their match with Blackpool.
“Unfortunately, we’ve picked up a couple of knocks this week and there’s a little bit of sickness going around,” Oxford manager Liam Manning said. We need to analyze and hopefully get everyone in the best shape possible because we have a few people who are suffering for the weekend.
