It was revealed earlier this week that great NFL wide receiver Julio Jones

would sign with the Philadelphia Eagles. Jones made an immediate impact against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday evening, hauling in a short ball from Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Jones established himself as one of, if not the, best receivers of his generation throughout his time with the Atlanta Falcons after being taken by Atlanta in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. During his time with Atlanta, which peaked in the mid-2010s, Jones set multiple franchise and NFL records.

Jones’ career included being nominated to the All-Pro First Team twice, the Pro Bowl seven times, and leading the league in scoring seven times.

Julio Jones was moved by the Falcons to the Tennessee Titans during the 2021 offseason, where he played with the Titans until signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022.
Jones last appeared on an NFL field before Sunday’s game, when the Buccaneers lost to the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card Round in January.

Jones now joins a talented group of receivers for Jalen Hurts on the Eagles’ roster, which includes AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. The Eagles and Dolphins both have a 5-1 record, which is the best in the NFL.
