DEAL AGREED: Baltimore Ravens are now set to Finalize key addition of offensive Running Back from the Titans at 2023 NFL trade deadline

Following their rout of the Detroit Lions last Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens climbed to the top of the NFL power rankings. With the NFL trade deadline approaching, there are currently circulating Ravens trade rumors about a possible transaction that might be completed by Tuesday.

Baltimore already has a Super Bowl-caliber resume. The Ravens are on the rise, thanks to one of the league’s greatest defenses and an offense that finally clicked in Week 7. However, there is still opportunity for improvement on the team’s roster.

NFL trade deadline: If Derrick Henry leaves Titans, where will he go?

Baltimore Ravens running statistics: 145 yards per game (3rd in the NFL), 8.6 first downs per game (2nd in the NFL), 4.4 yards per carry (8th in the NFL), 51.45% rushing rate (2nd in the NFL).
Drops have been a huge concern for the Ravens’ receiving corps this season, and the team’s depth at running back has suffered as a result of J.K. Dobbins’ injury. On the other side of the ball, the defense would undoubtedly benefit from the addition of a top-tier pass rusher. However, there appears to be a greater emphasis on one position.

The Ravens are looking to recruit a running back, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic. While the Ravens are pleased with how Gus Edwards and Justice Hill have performed, the front office and coaching staff believe there is still space for development at the position.
Edwards just had his greatest game of the season. The 6-foot-1 running back turned 14 carries into 64 rushing yards and a touchdown against Detroit, including an 80-yard catch-and-run. Edwards, who is only 28 years old, has averaged 5 yards per rush in his career.

Hill has also been a valuable member of Baltimore’s committee backfield. Hill is averaging 4.8 yards per carry on 41 attempts and has three running touchdowns entering today’s NFL games. He’s also added 11

A blockbuster trade for either Derrick Henry or Saquon Barkley is quite unlikely. The New York Giants have made it clear that Barkley will not be traded, and the Titans’ front management is said to be unimpressed with Henry’s trade value around the league.

While Russini did not name any specific targets, there are several NFL teams that could be sellers before the Oct. 31 NFL trade deadline. Dalvin Cook of the New York Jets is available, and Atlanta Falcons offensive weapon Cordarrelle Patterson might be a possibility.
