HUGE BLOW: Bulldogs KEY STAR set to miss entire season as confirmed by head coach

Karl Oloapu, a young Canterbury Bulldogs player, is reportedly facing the risk of missing the entire 2024 NRL season.

According to journalist Danny Weidler, Oloapu is facing imminent neck surgery and the possibility of missing the entire 2024 season.

Weidler also indicated that Oloapu’s long-term future will be determined after surgery on the toddler.

Weidler’s revelation comes after Samoa’s rising star was ruled out of the Pacific Championship. Multiple sources, including News Corp, reported at the time that he had been sidelined by a neck ailment for the duration of the 2023 season.

The 18-year-old made his NRL debut in 2023 and went on to play seven more games for the Bulldogs during the home-and-away season.

Karl Oloapu joined the Bulldogs after the Bulldogs paid the Brisbane Broncos $500,000 to sign him and has been a sensation in the halves while also being nominated to the U18s Queensland Emerging Origin side.
