Zlatan Ibrahimovic appears to be getting closer to a return, but AC Milan still has a few issues to work out. Meanwhile, the Swede has stated clearly what role he requires in order to return.
Ibrahimovic retired at the end of last season after missing a significant portion of the season due to injury. Since then, Italian newspapers haven’t stopped talking about his possible return, and this morning, it was brought up again.
Milan are ready to welcome him back, according to Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below). During his September visit, Ibrahimovic spoke with Pioli and his former teammates, as well as CEO Giorgio Furlani and owner Gerry Cardinale. And everyone agrees that his return would be priceless.
