One of these years, the Braves will win the World Series, just like they did in 2021.
They are simply too talented and profound to fail for long.
Furthermore, they arrive at work early and always endeavor to obtain the greatest players, contracts, and group of individuals to help them achieve their aim.
On Thursday, the day after the 2023 World Series concluded, they announced a contract renewal.
The Braves have signed reliever Joe Jimenez to a three-year contract.
The contract is worth $26 million over three years, with him earning $8 million in 2024 and $9 million annually in 2025 and 2026.
It’s a good price for a very good reliever that had a 3.04 ERA in 56.1 innings with 14 walks and 73 strikeouts in 2023.
When he was with the Detroit Tigers from 2017 to 2021, his career was quite uneven.
That’s why he has a 4.86 ERA in his career.
He did, however, improve in 2022 with a 3.49 ERA and was transferred to the Braves in December of that year.
The Braves will now include him in their long-term plans for the next three seasons.
