Milan were booed off the field following their 1-0 home loss to Udinese, thus only eight players braved the Curva Sud to confront the ultras.
It is customary to applaud the fans after a game, but most of them ran down the tunnel to enter the locker room.
Only captain Davide Calabria, Malick Thiaw, Mike Maignan, Alessandro Florenzi, Yacine Adli, Luka Romero, Tommaso Pobega, and Rubus Loftus-Cheek stepped up to the Curva Sud to face the jeers.
Pobega is the only member of this group who did not play, even as a substitute.
There is little doubt that the Rossoneri are in crisis after picking up just one point in their previous four Serie A games and finishing bottom of their Champions League group.
It’s the worst way to prepare for the upcoming match against Paris Saint-Germain at San Siro, especially with Theo Hernandez and Rade Krunic both out with injuries.
