BREAKING NEWS: Samuel L. Jackson sends a brutal message to Los Angeles Rams board amid Sean McVay’s job as Rams season sputters

The American audience has become accustomed to Samuel L. Jackson ranting in movies over the course of several generations, but it’s novel to see him so engrossed in sports defeats.

With quarterback Brett Rypien starting in place of an injured Matthew Stafford, the Packers defeated the Rams 20-3 at Lambeau Field on Sunday. The Rams’ total offense was less than 200 yards, as Jackson looked on in obvious contempt.

“When do we start talking about coaching the Rams?!” Jackson enquired on Sunday about X.

If this seems unexpected, it seems that this was the 74-year-old Jackson’s first-ever tweet on the Rams.

After finishing 5-12 in their Super Bowl championship defense the previous year, the Rams are now 3-6 on the season.
The Rams have a deal with him that expires in 2026.

Since taking over as head coach in 2017, McVay has led the Rams to a 63-44 record. The team also won the NFC conference title in 2018–19 in addition to the Super Bowl 2022 mentioned above.

In Sunday’s game against the Cowboys, Stafford was sidelined due to a thumb injury. Rypien took over for the starter.

Even though Rypien only passed for 4.6 yards per attempt and completed less than half of his attempts, McVay told reporters following the game that there was plenty of fault to go around.

McVay remarked, “I think there were some situations where we could play better around him.”

“To be honest, it’s difficult to conclude that today offered any significant positives,” he continued. “That’s when the true humility is revealed.”

Veronika Khomyn, McVay’s wife, just gave birth to their first child, a son named Jordan John McVay.
