The native of Ohio also talked candidly about how pointless his early-career attempts to succeed with the Cleveland Cavaliers were. In the end, his early years of failure drove him to depart on his own volition.

During that period, the majority of James’ supporting casts were made up of either veterans who were past their prime like Shaquille O’Neal and Antawn Jamison, or low-level stars like Mo Williams and Zydrunas Ilgauskas.

James made a wise choice in the end. Prior to James’s comeback in 2015, he allowed the Cavs to assemble a stronger roster while winning his first two rings with the Heat. The 2016 championship that James and the Cavaliers won over the Golden State Warriors provided them with delayed gratification.

This is the Lakers star’s 21st NBA season. However, James still creates moments that astound fans at the age of 38.
