After Saturday’s NAB AFLW victory over GWS, defenders Amelie Borg and Hannah Dunn of PORT ADELAIDE underwent scans.
After dislocating her finger, Borg came up from the ground in the first quarter, but she was able to play again after having her hand strapped.
Subsequent imaging revealed that the eighteen-year-old had suffered a fracture, for which he will need surgery in the coming days.
According to imaging, Dunn suffered a low-grade AC joint sprain during a late-game contest.
Georgie Jaques, a young defender, had her lateral meniscus repaired and her ACL rebuilt successfully on Thursday.
Just before Round 9, the 20-year-old suffered an ACL rupture during training.
