Against the Atlanta Falcons, the Arizona Cardinals could see a massive influx of talent return to their starting lineup. The Cardinals activated starting running back James Conner from injured reserve on Saturday night.
As a result, Conner will be able to return to the field against the Falcons. He’s officially classified as questionable.
Conner suffered a knee injury in Arizona’s Oct. 10 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was placed on injured reserve and missed the next four games as a result.
Conner had rushed 68 times for 364 yards and two touchdowns in five games prior to his injury.
Kyler Murray, the starting quarterback, will make his season debut after missing the previous 11 months due to an ACL tear suffered in December.
The Cardinals are currently 1-8 and have the top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
