Forward Chance Cowell and winger Jordi Tortell will join the Quakes Academy for the 2023 Generation adidas Cup in Bradenton, Fla., from April 1-8.
Chance Cowell’s name should sound familiar. Chance Cowell is Quakes and US Men’s National Team forward Cade Cowell’s younger brother. Cowell, who is 14 years old, currently plays for Sacramento Republic FC and has represented both the United States and Mexico at the U15 level. He’ll be playing for the Quakes’ U15s.
Jordi Tortell Daly, a 2006, is currently a member of the Santa Cruz Breakers after previously playing for the De Anza Force. In 2020, he was invited to a United States U14 minicamp. Tortell Daly will be a member of the Quakes’ U17 team.
The MLS Season Pass will feature 28 Generation adidas Cup games, including championship matches in both divisions, but no Quakes Academy matches will be streamed during the Group Stage.
