BREAKING NEWS: Michigan management made a drastic decision after becoming the first NCAAF program to reach 1,000 wins

The Wolverines are the only ones on the summit.

On Saturday, No. 2 ranked Michigan became the first NCAA Football program to reach 1,000 wins after defeating unranked Maryland 31-24 on the road.
After the game, players and staff gathered to pose with a sign that read “1000 wins” and smaller football signs with “1,000” and the Michigan “M” on them.
Despite the drama surrounding the program’s alleged sign-stealing scheme, the Wolverines improved to 11-0 on the season with the win against the Terrapins.

Head coach Jim Harbaugh was even barred from watching the team’s final three games.

According to the Big Ten, the school violated its sportsmanship policy by conducting “an impermissible, in-person scouting operation over multiple years” that resulted in “an unfair competitive advantage that compromised the integrity of competition.”
However, Michigan has won its last two games at the game venue without Harbaugh, with offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore in charge.

Michigan’s all-time win-loss-draw record now stands at 1,000-353-36. The Wolverines are second in the country with a 73.3% winning percentage.
