HUGE BOOST: RAMS are boost by the returned of key Duo against the Arizona Cardinals.

ARIZONA (AP) — While the Arizona Cardinals have just placed two defensive starters on injured reserve, the Los Angeles Rams could see the return of two key offensive weapons ahead of their Week 12 matchup with the New York Giants.

While Rams coach Sean McVay confirmed that running back Kyren Williams would return to the L.A. backfield, wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who sprained his ankle in the second quarter of Week 11, could be available.

Kupp has struggled with injuries recently, landing on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain at the end of last season before missing the first four games of 2023 with a hamstring injury.

McVay said the following when asked about Kupp’s injury:

“I believe (playing on Sunday) is the goal.” I’m sure he’ll do everything in his power. I believe it is definitely advantageous where he is a real possibility of being available. That’s not something you’re saying he’ll be out for the rest of the week. You want to see how it works. I know his mindset was encouraged based on how he felt today, some of the results of the scans and other things like that, and then his willingness to attack this and put himself in a position to be available for the team.”

Kupp had his best game of the season against Arizona in Week 2, recording seven receptions for 148 yards and one touchdown in a 26-9 Rams victory at SoFi Stadium.

The Cardinals are hoping for a different outcome with Kyler Murray back in charge of Arizona’s offense at State Farm Stadium.

We’ll get our first injury report of the week later today, so we’ll have a better idea of Kupp’s progress as the week progresses.
