Younghoe Koo, the Falcons’ kicker, missed practice on Wednesday, so the team added some insurance at the position on Thursday.

Matthew Wright has been added to the Falcons’ practice squad. Koo was sidelined with a back injury.
Wright spent the offseason with the Panthers and earlier this season on the 49ers practice squad, but he last appeared in a game with the Steelers last season. In four games with the team, he was 12-of-14 on field goals and 7-of-7 on extra points. Wright has also played regular-season football for the Chiefs and Jaguars.
This season, Koo has made 21 of 22 field goals and 14 of 15 extra points.
