While many people are on vacation or preparing to visit family, your Los Angeles Chargers are gearing up for their upcoming game against the AFC-leading Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens will travel to Los Angeles for a primetime matchup against the Bolts on Sunday night, and the Bolts will look to defeat the 8-3 Ravens. The Ravens, led by star quarterback Lamar Jackson, will look to crush the Bolts’ playoff hopes and dreams; however, three key players were absent from Wednesday’s practice.
Mark Andrews, Baltimore’s star tight end, is expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a left ankle injury in last Thursday’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Andrew could return this season, according to Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, but he will definitely miss Week 12 against the Los Angeles Rams.
The other two players who did not play were wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who was out with a shoulder injury, and cornerback Arthur Maulet, who was out with an illness. Beckham’s injury, according to Coach Harbaugh, is not long-term, which is unfortunate for the Bolts because he is starting to heat up and look like the All-Pro we saw with the New York Giants. Regardless, the Rams will have their hands full with the elusive Jackson at quarterback and the NFL’s third-best total defense.
