The Los Angeles Rams are coming off a big win over the Seattle Seahawks last Sunday.
That victory improved the Rams’ record to 4-6 and gave them some hope for the playoffs.
Cooper Kupp, a wide receiver, was forced out of last week’s game.
He suffered an ankle injury, putting his availability for this week’s game in doubt.
However, it appears that Kupp will play against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
Rams head coach Sean McVay told Sarah Barshop that Kupp will play.
The Rams will benefit greatly from having Kupp on the field.
Kupp missed the first four weeks of the season, but the offense is better with him on the field.
Kupp has 24 receptions for 375 yards and one touchdown in six games this season.
Puka Nacua, the Rams’ other star wide receiver, joins Kupp on the team.
In Kupp’s absence, the rookie has taken over and leads the Rams in receiving yards.
Nacua has 897 yards on the season, which ranks sixth in the NFL.
This is a game that the Rams must win.
The Rams can move within one game of a Wild Card spot by facing a divisional opponent.
LA has been plagued by injuries in recent seasons.
However, when healthy, they have a capable roster with Super Bowl experience.
The Rams traded their future for a Super Bowl victory in 2021.
They should be competitive even if they are not a Super Bowl contender this year.
