Myles Garrett is unlikely to play in the upcoming game between the Los Angeles Rams and the star defensive end’s Cleveland Browns. However, there is no guarantee that the player will suit up. On the one hand, his absence should benefit the Rams, but it would also be interesting to see if the LA offense can handle a game wrecker like Garrett. The Rams will have to face tougher defenses down the stretch, such as the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers. These are just a few examples. Sharpening iron sharpens sharpening iron. I hope Garrett stays healthy and continues to compete for defensive player of the year. It would be an excellent proving ground for the Rams.
In any case, it should be a tough game, as are most NFL games. Thank you for visiting, and go Rams! Please check out the links below and leave any comments you have! Have a wonderful Tuesday!
“Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett appeared to avoid structural damage in his injured shoulder and could play against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.”
Following further evaluation of the injury sustained on Sunday, head coach Kevin Stefanski provided an update to reporters on Monday.
“The shoulder is a little sore,” Stefanski admitted. “Feel good about where he’ll be, but day-to-day.”
“However, the Browns’ head coach was not ready to make any assumptions about who his quarterback would be when Cleveland plays the Rams on Sunday.”
“I’m gonna let the protocol play out,” Stefanski said of DTR’s status for the week. “We’ll work through all of that this week,” Stefanski promised. If Dorian is unavailable, we have P.J. [Walker] and Joe [Flacco].
If that happens, it is speculated that the powers that be will turn to newly signed veteran Joe Flacco to start under center in Thompson-Robinson’s absence. Stefanski remained mum on the subject, but seemed to imply that the job was DTR’s if he cleared concussion protocols while Flacco continued to learn the offense.”
“In Sunday’s 37-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals, the second-year RB had 204 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns.” In his first game back from injury, Williams rushed for 143 yards on 16 carries and added six catches for 61 yards and two touchdowns.
When asked how his ankle felt after the victory, Williams joked:
“How many — 200 yards from scrimmage?” he said, according to the team’s website. “I want to say (I feel) 200 percent this time.”
