JUST IN: Falcon head coach Arthur Smith issues a major injury update on key starting trio ahead of Week 13 game against New York Jets

FLOWERY BRANCH, Georgia — Arthur Smith announced after Friday’s practice that receiver Mack Hollins and cornerback Mike Hughes are questionable for the Falcons’ Week 13 game against the New York Jets.

Hollins injured his ankle against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9 and missed the next two games. For the first time since sustaining the injury, he participated in every practice this week, but he was limited in each session.

Hughes (hand) practiced fully all week after injuring his in the first quarter of the Week 12 win over the New Orleans Saints.

Smith expects inside linebacker Nate Landman to play on Sunday. Landman did not practice on Wednesday and was listed as a limited participant in the two practices following the Falcons’ game against the Jets.

Jake Matthews, an offensive lineman, was a full participant in Friday’s practice. Matthews had been limited in his previous two appearances.
