JUST IN: Detroit Tigers Manager A.J. Hinch drop a major update on future with the Detroit Tigers

During an appearance on the ‘Foul Territory’ podcast, A.J. Hinch teases his future with the Detroit Tigers.
Although Detroit Tigers manager A.J. Hinch is reportedly under contract through the 2025 season, recent comments indicate that an extension beyond that timeframe would not be surprising. While neither the Tigers nor Hinch have officially disclosed the terms of his contract, all indications point to him remaining in Detroit for the foreseeable future.

1000 victories with the Detroit Tigers?
During an appearance on the ‘Foul Territory’ podcast, which is hosted by retired catcher Erik Kratz, former big leaguer Todd Frazier, and broadcaster Scott Braun, Hinch hinted at his desire to win his 1,000th career managerial game while representing the Olde English D.

When asked if he sees himself reaching 1,000 wins as Tigers manager, Hinch, who has 791 career wins, didn’t hesitate.

“Yes,” he said right away. “100%”.

“I’m lucky to be here,” he added. “I enjoy what I do.” I enjoy working with the people I do. These jobs are incredible once you get the ball rolling, start attracting the right people, and establish the right culture.”

“I couldn’t be happier in Detroit,” said Hinch. “When you go to a place and start developing relationships and     putting your fingerprints on it, bringing coaches in – I now have a new boss structure with Scott Harris and Jeff Greenberg – places start to feel like home.” That’s how I feel about Detroit. I’d rather be here than anywhere else.”

Finally, is Hinch here to stay?
Last season, the Tigers made significant strides, and they hope to continue their rebuilding process and become a more competitive team in the American League Central Division. The good news is that Hinch, who has championship experience, does not appear to be planning to leave anytime soon.
How do Tigers fans feel about Hinch staying in Detroit for the long haul?
