JUST IN: Auburn Tigers fans with a brutal petitions to management over players entering transfer portal after just confirming wide receiver is set for exit

Malcolm Johnson Jr., an Auburn wide receiver, has decided to use the transfer portal.

Johnson Jr. was ranked as the 212nd best player in the 2020 recruiting class by 247Sports composite rankings out of high school, but he never played a significant role for the Tigers.

Johnson Jr. caught six passes for 89 yards this season and 14 passes for 199 yards and one touchdown in his career.

Johnson Jr. underachieved during his time on the Plains, but in today’s college football world, he can go find a new place to call home.

With all of the five-star talent coming to the Plains in the 2024 class, Johnson Jr. should look for a new home to finish his career.

Best wishes to a player who stayed with Auburn through thick and thin, even when he wasn’t getting much playing time.
