He appeared in only one game in 2023, recording one assisted tackle. This most likely means he was looking for more playing time and is leaving to pursue greener pastures.

Miami has a lot of work ahead of them. The Hurricanes have already lost some promising prospects to the transfer portal, making building a championship contender more difficult.
