The Toronto Raptors announced on Friday that two-way guard-forward Ron Harper Jr. had been waived. Toronto now has 15 players on the roster, including two two-way players.
After signing as an undrafted free agent prior to the 2022-23 season, Harper averaged 2.0 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 5.2 minutes in 10 career games with the Raptors. He also appeared in 49 Raptors 905 showcase and regular season games, averaging 16.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 32.3 minutes per game.
Harper will have season-ending surgery next week after suffering a subluxation of the left shoulder while playing for the Raptors 905 on December 7 at Long Island.
